15 PLACE routinely needs the following supplies to provide services to the needy. Thank you for your support.

-Each month the clients receive a hygiene kit which includes: shampoo, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, comb and a razor. Women always need sanitary supplies. Any and all of the above are always welcome so these kits can continue to be provided.

-Our homeless mothers need disposable diapers and wipes.

-When 15 Place opened we served 80 hot lunches each day; now we are serving an average of 215 each day. There is a constant need for staples such as rice, sugar, pasta and #10 cans of vegetables.

Whenever our supporters empty their closets and spare rooms we become the fortunate recipients of donations such as clothing, home goods, and décor. Your generosity is so appreciated. The storage facilities at 15 Place are limited at best. Through years of experience it works best if all donations are taken to Goodwill and donated in our name to the Good Samaritan program. This allows the case managers to provide the clients a voucher specific to their needs to receive those items free of charge. It is a great partnership that 15 Place along with the clients value so much.

Finally the greatest wish is for financial support. Under the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant, every cent that is raised is multiplied by five. So for example every dollar is really five dollars, every hundred is five hundred, and so on. The impact of every penny creates ripples that make a remarkable difference.
